river in the morning
morning walks have become essential in this COVID slog. being greeted by the scene above on a calm morning, as well as the ripples or gales and in-between, reminds me how grateful I am to be able start my day this way. with a cattle farm next door, we have happened upon a young bull that escaped his fence and more recently, the first calf of the calving season. these are small pleasures that make me feel lucky.
