i aim to keep compositions simple. i find balance, using symmetry and negative space which allows me to keep a sense of order in my images - using fog, perspective, and composition, to keep out distractions, which helps to achieve that feeling. some of my work is black and white - for its simplicity, in that color can distract - I also love the softness of desaturated color images, which present a visual calm. i am finding myself attracted to color more and more. When i do aim in that direction, the color is as important as the subject.
